Too shy

I’m letting everyone know how excited and energized I am to be back in the studio! I have spent the last six months oogeling and googeling over my wonderful little angel, Maya Audreyanna, who has become my little muse. All my life I have dreamed of being a mommy and now that I have my little sweet pea I can’t believe what a wonderful experience it is.  Being at home with her has been so inspiring, watching her every experience for the first time.  Absolutely amazing!

Daddy’s comfortable and ready for the whole day of “Maya Time” and I’ve got all these fresh baby ideas to start shooting away.  I can’t wait to get back into the studio!!! We have been very busy with weddings this summer, as well as portraits. Laura, our Photographic Enhancer, will be at the computer all day making our photos perfect for our wonderful clients. There is nothing as rewarding as seeing your faces light up the first time you see your photographs!

It is quite the dreary day outside in the Niagara Region today, but that doesn’t mean we can’t all have fun indoors! KLIC is busy with photographing children today, which usually means that things are going to be pretty crazy around here. We like the children to enjoy their time at KLIC and to just have fun, this way we can get the best expression possible for their photograph. This way, the photo will give the best description of who that child really is.

Below is an example of two children that were in our studio, a great example of capturing the moment, enjoy!

So sorry that we haven’t been posting as regular as we usually do, but we have been super busy!

KLIC has been photographing weddings on the weekends, and family portraits as well as Real Estate headshots throughout the week. On top of all that, we’ve been doing some small renovations around the studio! Things are looking great around here, lots of new paint colours and photographs on the walls and we are hoping to get even more projects underway.

The $50.00 Special for the month of July has been advertised on Giant FM (91.7fm if you’re in the Niagara Region), but for those of you who haven’t heard it yet, we are doing a Graduate special. For only $50.00 you will recieve a studio sitting, and unlimited proofs.

Also with Giant FM, we have ANOTHER Pet Portrait Contest going on. Check the contest out on their website www.giantfm.com. All you have to do is submit a funny photo of your furry friend to klic@giantfm.com and hope that your’s gets chosen! You can look at all the other entries as well on the Giant FM website.

This week has gone by so quickly!

Kelly and I, Laura, have been busy busy at KLIC this week. Kelly spent last weekend photographing weddings, and we have been busy with some changes in our studio this week. We splashed some new paint onto the walls and even got some new furniture.

We both had a nice break yesterday, Kelly was attending a golf tournament which she helped to sponsor, and I had my graduation from college up in Barrie. Today, however, we are both back to working very hard! Kelly is in Muskoka photographing the next cover for Homes and Land magazine (www.homesandland.com) while I am busy with computer work and editing photographs for our awesome clients!

KLIC Photographic Design is very excited to be photographing family portraits today!

The Niagara Region has blue skies and perfect weather, a great reason to get outside. With all the warm weather recently we’ve been outside taking lots of photos of all the orchards springing into life.

Father’s Day is coming up, and with this great weather KLIC would love to photograph you and your father to capture memories of a lifetime. We have a great special on this month for Father’s Day ($50.00 for a photography session, and unlimited proofs!) The Special will continue through to June 30th.
